24-hour EMT Refresher Course

This EMT re-certification course meets the California State required hours to recertify your EMT license. The 24-hour course is scheduled over 3 eight-hour days. 24 CE Credits, a course completion certificate and a new AHA BLS CPR Card will be provided upon successful completion of all 24 hours of training. All valid for 2 years.

Title 22 Public Safety First Aid/ CPR Course (21 hour)

Initial and Refresher Courses 

This course meets the California Code of Regulations , Division 9, Chpt 1.5 100017 for Firefighters, Police Officers and Life Guards.  Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a course completion certificate and an AHA BLS CPR Card, both valid for 2 years.

AHA BLS CPR (Basic Life Support)

Initial and Refresher Courses 


BLS CPR is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. 

  • What does this course teach? 
  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants 
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components Important early use of an AED Effective ventilations using a barrier device 
  • Importance of teams in multi rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR 
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
